Between the 22nd and the 23rd of November, 2019, the representatives of Valakupiai Rehabilitation Center (VRC) presented the activities carried out and the services delivered within LEAD project during the 9th edition of the educational innovation exhibition “School 2019”, the most important specialised event held last year in Lithuania at the Litexpo Exhibition Center under the slogan “Let’s learn together!”; young adults with disabilities had the opportunity to obtain useful information and receive counsultancy from Supported Employment specialists of VRC. Over 10,000 participants from all over the country plus more than 100 Lithuanian organisations from various activity fields attended the event.
A few days later, our colleagues talked about their work and the opportunities offered by LEAD project to people with disabilities at the Lithuanian Educational Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, where leaflets were also left for further information.
At the beginning of February 2020, two members of the VRC team participated at the exhibition “Studies 2020”, providing valuable information about LEAD project to the representatives of educational institutions (colleges, vocational schools) who attended the event.
Additionally, the activities carried out within LEAD project have also been presented at: Šilas School, the department of Vilnius Social Services Center and Vilnius Technology Teaching and Rehabilitation Center.
