The 2nd European Digital Bootcamp started on the 6th of August, 2020 in Riga, Latvia. 22 young persons belonging to the category of NEET (not studying and not currently working) started their classroom training, after which they continued practical training in work placements at IT companies.
In a 200-hour intensive training program, young people acquired programming skills in almost all the most popular programming languages.
The European Digital Bootcamps are organized under the project EDIBO (European Digital Bootcamps), funded by the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment. Foundation for Society, as a national partner of Latvia, will organize a total of 6 training courses by the end of September 2021.
The 3rd European Digital Bootcamp in Latvia will start on the 10th of March, 2021. Due to the COVID-19 this Bootcamp will be performed online. You could find more information at local website www.edibo.lv
