Long before our daily lives were changed, a consortium of five European countries strived towards changing the future with the help of modern digital tools on the youth-counselling field. A project led by Public university Ptuj (SLO), and four other beneficiaries: Tesla Technologies & Software S.L (ES), Asociatia EIVA (RO), Interregio Forum Association (HU) and Fønix AS (NOR), was designed to empower young adults that are not in education, employment, or training (NEETS), to help them with individualized approach and guidance on their way to becoming fully equipped to participate in the labour market.
COVID-19 has presented one of the most formidable challenges in recent history, especially in the field of counselling NEETs. Nobody was able to advise individuals in person, live, in their offices, workplaces. Nobody was able to provide individuals all the needed help and guidance. Thus, our developed platform really enabled all coaches to work during COVID-19, to keep in touch with NEETs and to monitor them from homes without any trouble.
