CODE Project Successful Mission

We are happy to announce that there was a great interest to the specialized training courses under CODE project. Approximately 200 youngsters have participated in the 3d animation and graphic design courses in Bulgaria, Estonia, Italy, Greece, Latvia and Romania!

Due to COVID-19 specific restrictions partners adapted the training modules to the pandemic situation worldwide, training experts uploaded the lectures, videos and content on Moodle platform as it could be accessible for students at any time. Moodle training platform made it possible for young people from rural areas to be educated and to receive psychological help. Within the framework of CODE course, young people not only learned the theory, they have created their own videos, photos, 3d heroes, design shirts, bags, towels. Most of them are uploaded on YouTube channel of Creative Center Ruse https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCCCWI2a9vkbOpKARxNN8AQ.Trainees visited companies, young people had the chance to improve themselves for creative industries labour market.

We considers distance learning a success story, allowing youngsters from countryside, healthy disadvantaged to attend classes, as well as watch the recording at a convenient time.

Through the specific knowledge received by the courses trainees gain more chances to realize themselves on the labor market – 2 of our graduates started work in the creative industry, 15 continued their training and education after finishing CODE courses, 5 are collaborating with companies in the field of 3d animation, 5 started their own business!

The innovative approach of the Project and the direct work with each trainees were awarded by the Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia, the Agency for International Youth Programs of Latvia, the Association of Latvian Municipalities and the Association of the Latvian Youth Council in the competition “Best in working with young people in 2020.

Project CODE team is proud about the results achieved so far, as they proove that we have succeeded in our mission to motivate young people to continue their education and to raise their competitiveness in the creative industries labour market.
