Capacity building workshop on counterfactual evaluation methods in labour economics
Collegio Carlo Alberto Foundation, partner of the Youth Employment PartnerSHIP– evaluation studies in Spain, Hungary, Italy and Poland, is helding the Workshop on Labour Market Dynamics on February 13th and 14th 2020 at its premises in Turin.
The capacity building workshop is aimed at the discussion and diffusion of counterfactual evaluation methods in labour economics. The workshop features top speakers from academia and national institution that will present and debate the results and policy implication of the recent development of the field.
In order to promote the inclusion of younger scholars into the debate, the workshop will host a poster exhibition of selected works by young researchers (under 35). Laboratorio Revelli will award a prize in the name of Riccardo Revelli – a pioneer in the use of administrative data for labour market analysis, who passed away 20 years ago – to the best poster presented.
The workshop is jointly organised with “Young in, Old out. Demography and Labor Policy”, “PROWEDEC Productivity, welfare and decentralized bargaining”,both research projects of the University of Torino co-funded by Compagnia di San Paolo and LABORatorio Riccardo Revelli, Center for Employment Studies.

The Youth employment partnerSHIP– evaluation studies in Spain, Hungary, Italy and Poland project benefits from 1,8 million € grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment. The Fund supports international project initiatives that promote sustainable and quality youth employment in Europe.
