The main aim of the DARE project is to employ transnational cooperation to support 1,400 NEETs vulnerable due to multiple barriers in Greece, Italy, Portugal, and Cyprus to shake off the NEET status by addressing challenges related to career planning, entrepreneurship education and validation of learning with the Open Badges system. Ultimately, we seek to change young people’s lives for the better. To reach the objective, we have planned 3 main interventions that are innovative for all 4 target countries. With the operation of Job Labs, Entrepreneurship Labs and the establishment of a system for validation of non-formal learning, we will increase the number of NEETs who obtain employment, education or training in the long run. We seek to influence the employers to approve the system we provide to the final beneficiaries. Our consortium has a cross-sectorial character with partners gaining from the transfer of know-how – this diversity facilitates the exchange of best practices and policy-learning.

Target groups:

  • Young people not in employment, education or training in Greece, Italy, Portugal and Cyprus
  • Employers who would like to test a system for validation of non-formal learning
