USEFUL RESOURCES: Guide for supporting entrepreneurship for vulnerable young adults

The authors hope this Guide responds to the needs of young adults who are interested in starting their own business, regardless of education or background.

With the right tools and resources, vulnerable young adults too can become a successful entrepreneurs! There are many people and organisations willing to support them and promote their achievements.We hope this Guide will be a valuable tool to inspire, motivate and empower them to follow their entrepreneurial path”, underlined Nicolae Dobrescu, Executive Director of HAO and Manager of the project.

Reading the Guide, young adults can obtain useful information about: meaning and importance of entrepreneurship, benefits of entrepreneurship and digital entreprenourship. Afterwards, the readers can find out how to identify their strengths and weaknesses, their talents and interests, and the areas where additional support may be needed, and where they can get it.

Also, our colleagues talk about some steps to help the young adults develop a business idea. In the same chapter, they offer: tips in order to write a suitable business plan, a wide range of useful resources, as well as details of programs and organisations that support entrepreneurial initiatives. In addition, the Guide provides valuable information regarding: market research, promotion of business, building partnerships, funding options (grants, loans).

A special chapter is dedicated to practical ways to overcome challenges and setbacks in entrepreneurship. These may include: financial difficulties, marketing challenges lack of experience or knowledge, lack of support and guidance. In addition, potential entrepreneurs can benefit from some tips in order to maintain their mental health.

Potential entrepreneurs can also find out valuable informatiob regard to build a support network that can help them face the challenges and seize the business opportunities.
